2020 was an intense year for everyone, but for those trying to organise a wedding, that was an extra level. And it wasn't different for Francesca + Mark - who got engaged during this crazy pandemic. We had the privilege of capturing their pre-wedding back in August.
The decision to organise their wedding wasn't the easiest, but when they realised that things might take a while to get back to some level of normality, they just decided to embrace 2020 and make the most of it. They organised the whole wedding in 4 weeks!
Their day had a sense of peace that is hard to describe, you could only feel it if you were there, but we tried to portray that atmosphere through what we were creating for them.
Francesca had a quiet morning with just the make-up artist, Sophie, and one of her friends, as her family due to travel restrictions couldn't come from US and Venezuela, where she's originally from. But they were there, celebrating with her, thanks to phones and all the technology available! Usually, the bridal room is full of energy and fast pace, but Francesca's room had a sense of quietness and joy that felt just right. You could tell she knew she had made the right decision to embrace who she was and created a day that reflected her and Mark.
The whole day was beautiful and emotional, plus the lighting that day was definitely a gift from the One whom those two love and He was there with and for them.
We are so honoured we could be a part of such an important day for them. These two are special people and we know this is the beginning of something lasting.
